Currently we have over 180 junior and infant members playing at a range of standards.
Our junior members have the opportunity to take part in coaching and to play at a number of levels. We also have 8 junior teams ranging from aged 6 up to age 18.
From how to hold a racket to developing a rally, children will learn all the essentials that are key to falling in love with tennis. But it’s not only a great way to stay active; it’s a social sport that will help your child develop valuable life skills, such as respecting one another and being part of a team! Most importantly, they’ll be having fun and making new friends in a safe, relaxed environment!
There are so many developmental benefits to children playing tennis
- Increase hand-eye co-ordination
- Accept responsibility
- Increase problem solving skills
- Learn sportsmanship
- Improve mental strength
- Learn dedication
- Improve social skills
Juniors can take advantage of coaching opportunities at Heyes Grove. Our Head coach and his team run sessions 6 days a week.
